Located on Flamingo Road on the other side of I-15 behind Bellagio, it's designed to attract that coveted "affluent Southern Californian" crowd. The Palms has also made a strong effort to dominate the "middle-aged gay men" demographic. A suite at the top of the Palms was the home of MTV's "Real World Las Vegas." The Palms also plays host to two of the city's most trendy clubs. Rain is a theater during the day and turns into a dance club with DJ's spinning techno and house music at night.
