A Little About Stardust
Stardust is old-school. If you're looking for beautiful young rich people playing Carribean Stud while waiting to drop $500 on a night of dining, dancing and over-produced theme shows, go somewhere else. Stardust caters primarily to the over-40 crowd. You'll see more oxygen bottles here than at any Strip hotel other than Tropicana. Stardust has 2,400 guest rooms and its 100,000 square foot casino dedicates more space to traditional games like blackjack, craps and roulette than new-fangled house favorites like Let It Ride and Three Card Poker.

Stardust is the home of Mr. Vegas, himself, Wayne Newton. While Wayne's voice isn't what it used to be, he still puts on the definitive Las Vegas lounge show, cracking jokes, charming the ladies, and playing the piano, guitar, mandolin, harmonica and banjo while allowing members of his band to take on an increased share of the singing duties. I strongly recommend that everyone take the time to see Wayne Newton once while he's still with us. He's one of a kind, even is he is now composed largely of plastic. Tickets are $55 (a bit steep, but not bad compared to other big-draw shows on the Strip) which includes "tax, tip, and your first beverage."
